w Danny Whitten; from Loveline

If you know Mike Enjo of Australia's Creative Sauce it's likely as a purveyor of excellent YouTube videos on how to use Cakewalk and other audio-engineering/music-production software. But as even short-time viewers may be aware, he's also got some records of his own out, particularly with his wife Suzi under the name of Loveline. You know the one song at least, "What We Do"? The one in all the Cakewalk tutorials, to the point where they went back and finished it for an official release?

But that's not the half of it. Today we've got this number from Loveline's 2019 eponymous album, a cover of "I Don't Want to Talk About It" as given to us by Neil Young's backing band of old, Crazy Horse, and made famous by Rod Stewart. Especially from about two-thirds of the way through it's a lovely duo arrangement; very nice interplay with the second guitar part that comes in...

Of course "I Don't Want to Talk About It" is a magnificent composition in just about any hands - compare with the aforementioned versions as you like:

Loveline appear to have last had a single out about two years ago, the original piano ballad "You and Me":

Will Hawkeye return? Am I the only one who sees Mike's resemblance to Jeremy Renner? Only time will tell...
